Sunny Deol files nomination from Gurdaspur

Actor-turned-politician Sunny Deol on Monday filed his nomination papers as BJP candidate to contest his debut Lok Sabha polls from Gurdaspur, Punjab, against sitting Congress MP and Punjab Congress president Sunil Jakhar and Aam Aadmi Party’s Peter Masih Cheeda. Earlier in the morning, Deol, whose real name is Ajay Singh Deol, paid obeisance at Harmandar Sahib, Amritsar.
