Mirwaiz freed after 4 years, seeks talks, calls for return of Pandits at Friday prayers

Hurriyat Conference chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, detained since August 2019, was released from house arrest. He led prayers in Srinagar's Jamia Masjid, advocating for dialogue to resolve the Kashmir issue. He expressed his desire for the return of Kashmiri Pandits and emphasized the humanitarian aspect of the conflict.
