Tamil Nadu to hand NIA Coimbatore car explosion case

An NIA team got cracking hours before the CM’s move, meeting senior officials of Coimbatore police for a briefing on the findings of the investigation so far that led to the arrest of five young men allegedly linked to IS. A batch of NIA officials had been camping in the city since Monday while another arrived late Tuesday, sources said. They hadn’t visited the blast site till the government’s announcement.
