Speaker recognises Maharashtra CM Shinde man as Sena leader in LS

In a fresh jolt to the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has recognised Rahul Shewale of the Sena faction led by Maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde as leader of the party in Lok Sabha. Acting on a representation signed by 12 of the 19 Sena members in the LS, Birla also recognised Bhawna Gawli as the party’s chief whip.
