Landfall of cyclone Fani may not happen till May 4, may spare TN and Andhra coasts

Existing models suggest that the ‘Fani’ may cross Odisha near Puri on May 4. “It (cyclonic storm over south-east Bay of Bengal) is very likely to move north-westwards till May 1 (Wednesday) and thereafter re-curve north-northeastwards towards Odisha coast,” said the ministry of earth sciences in a statement on ‘Fani’.
